How does it compare to a 10w or 21w HID???

It does OK against them. Let's be honest, it's about a 1/3 the cost of an HID. It won't have the same punch as either, but can 100% hold it's own. I was cave diving this weekend and my buddy uses that the Morph as his Primary. I had no problems in a black wall cave (eats up the light) seeing his light.
