How well does this hood keep warm diving the quarries(below the thermocline) in Ohio?.

This hood comes in two different thicknesses, 3mm and 6mm. Not knowning what the water temperature is past the thermocline at the quarries you are diving, I unfortunately cannot give you a definite answer to this question. I can tell you that this hood is constructed of compressed neoprene which prevents the neoprene form shrinking at depth, in turn allowing for a warmer dive throughout.. For colder temperatures you would want to go with a 6mm hood comapred to the 3mm hood.
