Why would someone buy this when it would be cheaper (and safer) to buy an isolation manifold and a second first stage?

After speaking with the manufacturer they have said that this is designed for the purpose of fewer connection points in the manifold. For divers who are looking for a manifold with less failure points like connections and o-rings.
