The battery for the A300 CS OLED is not rechargeable. There is a user replaceable battery with this unit, and the battery life is approximately 30 dive hours depending on user settings and use. The transmitter that is available for this computer also has a user replaceable battery that is not rechargeable, and has an approximate run time, depending on diver use, of 6 months according to the manufacturer. This transmitter is not ultrasonic. Located to the right of the product image under the ""Select Product Options"" button you can select if you would like to add the transmitter with your purchase. The cost of the computer with transmitter is $1295.95.
