Is the connector for this the same as the ScubaPro Air2?If not, is it possible to buy and replace the air barrel parts from the Air2 with those for Edge Gear Egress Octo inflator?

Yes the quick disconnect is the same on the EDGE Egress and the ScubaPro Air2. In regards to placing parts, you CAN NOT replace any of the parts from the Air2 with the Egress Octo Inflator. You should never use parts that are not made specifically for the equipment that you are using.
