This filter will not clip on to a housing with the circular frame for the lens. The dive housing for the Hero 2 has a large rectangular lens frame that will allow this filter to clip onto this housing.
My Hero2 housing has a black, circular ring around the lens. Your photo shows the red lens snapping on a black rectangular ""hood"" around the lens. Is this the right lens for my camera and dive housing? Hero 2 Red Dive Filter
