At this point in time the manufacture does not plan on discontinuing the D2 first stage. However if they do decide to do that the parts kits will still be available from the manufacture.
I saw something about the D2 1st stage being discontinued. My concern is getting service kits in the future for this regulator. Should I be getting the D1 instead. I don't really need the swivel or the 5th port. Many thanks! D2 First Stage Service Kit
