You do not need the cold water kit for your location. I do however always recommend the kit. Not only is it great for cold water but it also keeps other contaminants out of the first stage.
Planned this as gift, for use in the Philippines, and by location do I need to purchase the cold water kit? Recipient of this do spearfishing at night. HOG BP2 First Stage
