The major difference between the Chillproof and Covert is thermal protection.
The covert offers no thermal protection at all. It is designed to block the human electric signal. That way you can get closer to wildlife.
The Chippprof does not have this technology, it does keep you warm. It is desigined to take the place of a 3mm wet suit.
