What's the lifetime of the sensors, both when being used, and when being stored? Are they user-replaceable? Or perhaps more to the point, what is the estimated annual maintenance cost?

According to the manufacturer, the O2 sensor lasts an estimated 12 months or so and the replacement costs $65.00.
