The sizing only pertains to the size you need to go around your ankle. As far as fitting in the suit, either size will have the same fit on the suit side.
I measured the material at the bottom of the cuff where it would meet the ankle seal and it is 7 1/2 inches. Would either of these ankle seals fit? DRIS Latex Cone Ankle Seals (Pair)
