The Slingshot GoPro Light Tray was built and designed for the GoPro. You can still use the product but you would need to remove the GoPro base and then attach your camera. There are some other products that might work better and are built with a more universal design such as the Tray Arm Assembly from iTorch that has a ball mount for the light.
