I am a senior diver with some excess facial skin deep wrinkles. I have found most hoods force my forehead and cheeks to bunch up causing my mask to lose seal. can the face skirt on this hood be trimmed back without losing the tight fit on the top?

I have consulted with Waterproof and according to them you can trim the face wit a very sharp pair of scissors, but you would have to use a neoprene cement to re-seal the seam on the chin. It would also be a good idea to try a hood a size larger to see if you had a more comfortable fit.
