Can the charger be used with 240 volt outlets? What does the red light on the battery part of the charger mean?

Hi Loren, the charger for this light is a 120v charger. It will not handle the power of a 240v outlet. The red LED on the charger is the indicator light to show you the status of the battery you are charging.
