Hi Lisa, the way this suit is built will make it very unlikely to sag. The inner core of the suit is what the sizing is based on, the outer lycra skin pulls any excess material from the inner core tight to the body to make you more streamlined. If you are at the upper limit of the XS/SM I would recommend going with the next size up. This will also allow for any undergarments you plan on wearing under the suit.
