Hi Rckclmber75, the sizing is based on shoulder to waist and overall height. The size chart is as follows:
Size Shoulder Waist Weight
Medium15 - 18 in 24 - 34 in110 - 150 lb
Large17 - 22 in 32 - 42 in150 - 200 lb
X Large18 - 23 in 32 - 42 in180 - 220 lb
XX Large22.5+ in 42+ in 220+ lb
