If I select the stainless steel plate and 32 lb wing, do I need a singles adapter to use it with one tank?

No, you do not need to use an STA (single tank adapter) with this wing and plate system, as the wing has slots for the cambands to pass through when using with a single cylinder. Cambands are required to attach cylinder to backplate and wing.
