Hello John, for any SCUBA Full Facemask, it is essential to take a Full Face Mask course through the certifying agency of your choice before diving one on your own. Following that, it is also highly recommended to read the instruction manual for the product in full, and if possible, dive the mask in a confined water environment in order to get a feel for the mask and utilize its features underwater before heading out to ""open water"". You can certainly enroll in a Full Face Mask Diver course here at Dive Right In Scuba, but if you are not local to the area, contact your local shop and see if they offer the training! Currently we do not have this mask available to try before you buy, but after purchase, we would be more than happy to schedule you for a free pool session to try the mask out in a confined environment.
