Can this be installed on an Apeks KVR1 Fusion drysuit? I assume it needs to go through both layers.

We install these through the aircorce / drycore portion of the drysuit but not through the stretchy outer skin as we have found issues with doing so.
You can still open and close the valve through the outer skin as necessary
