Can the hood make you dry ?

This hood will not keep your entire head dry, it will function just as any other neoprene hood by capturing water between your skin/hair and the neoprene and letting your body heat warm the water to maintain thermal comfort. They refer to it as a drysuit hood because the neck is cut short in order to join to your neck seal and help slow water ingress, but it will not keep your head dry.
