When a diver using the KISS Spirit LTE CCR exhales, the spent gas moves down the right scrubber and into both counterlungs, gathering more oxygen in the process. Upon inhalation, the gas ascends through the second scrubber in the kiss spirit system, where it is purified a second time from any leftover CO2 before it reaches the diver's lungs.
