If you're using this on a Trilam suit, you will want to have some wax paper on top of the tape and suit so you don't burn thru it. All irons are different so, we recommend a low heat. Good pressure and heat will work with no issues. If this isn't fully sticking, as some Trilams were made with a release agent, you can also prep the area with a thin coating of our DRIS Drysuit Glue to help with adhesion. MEK or Acetone are good choices to prep the tape with and clean the suit as well.
