Thank you for your question. While the pro ear mask can help keep bacteria out and also assist in equalization, we cannot recommend using it with an punctured ear drum, or even recommend that you go diving at all until your ear is fully healed. Better to rest up and go diving when you're at your best. Thanks! ~Dan
